Waking up both yesterday and today to bright sunshine is not something that happens everyday at the moment, and the energy that it gives is just incredible! Yesterday I bounced out of bed to get on with a DIY that I've been longing to do for a long time and that involves a favourite of mine, copper pipes. It turned out really well, although it does require some finishing touches, and I'll show you the result soon!
This week we also somewhat spontaneously decided to pick up a new dining table, until now we've been using an Ikea desk and it's been both too small and not really ideal for the apartment. Instead we turned to Blocket to find something else and landed on another Ikea favourite, Docksta, a round table without any legs to consider! So happy with it and can't wait to have friends over and not having to be crammed around our old table. I also came home to these amazing flowers one day, massive boyfriend points, and they are now starting to bloom into the most gorgeous (and massive) bouquet.
I also realised that I haven't shown you that I made another concrete lamp (like my first DIY for Houzz, remember?), in a bigger size as I'm still a bit in love with the concept of using vases as domes. For this one it has been a bit harder though as I'm yet to find the perfect one, but until then this vase by Lagerhaus will do the trick.
